Chichester Harbour Race Week 2016 15-19 August: discount for early on-line entries

Welcome to the first of the regular email newsletters for Chichester Harbour Race Week 2016. These will continue at approximately monthly intervals until shortly before the first starting gun on August 15th.
The website has woken up from its winter hibernation and on it you’ll find details of the event, the Notice of Race, the 2016 entry fees, a link to on-line entry and lots of other useful information.
For the first time there is a discount for early entry – sign up on-line before July 1st to enter at 2015 prices.
This year our main sponsor is Bentley Walker, provider of Tooway high speed satellite internet. There is support as well from ABC Marine and Raymarine. All these companies are based on, or have close links with, Hayling Island.
Back in control of the fleets are the familiar names of Greg
Wells (Series A), Mark Darling (Series B) and Ian Grant (Series C). Racing is in essentially the same successful format that has evolved to make the maximum use of the water available. The courses will be tweaked, however, to allow for windward/leeward as well as Olympic triangles. Classes with 10 or more five-day on-line entries may apply to the Race Committee to be considered for their own start.
