CFCRA Letter of Intent decisions

The Canadian Field Crop Research Alliance (CFCRA) is continuing the development of a new Canadian field crop cluster for the next Agriculture Policy Framework. This week, CFCRA notified all researchers who submitted Letters of Intent (LOI) to the CFCRA-led Canadian field crop cluster of their decisions to request, or decline the submission of a full proposal. Those researchers who were invited to submit full research proposals will have two months to complete a full proposal, and incorporate all feedback and recommendations provided to them following the CFCRA LOI review meetings. All research proposals will be subjected to a scientific peer review, where scientists with technical expertise in the subject matter being reviewed will assess the proposed research activities, budgets, and research teams for scientific merit and technical quality. The deadline for researchers to submit full research proposals is Monday, April 24. For more information about the CFCRA, please visit www.fieldcropresearch.ca. •
