| R.U.F.F. SEPTEMBER NEWSLETTER Fall has descended upon New England and there is no better season for our pups! Lots of fun outdoor events happening in October, in the North End and around the area.
We encourage everyone to invite new dog owners or neighbors to the dog park and make them aware of what RUFF does. Responsible owners are the foundation of RUFF and we are always looking to bring in new members
Keep sharing the RUFF information: INFO@RUFFBoston.org, on Instagram (ruffnorthend) and Facebook (RUFF North End Dog Group).

The RUFF family is overwhelmed with excitement and joy, little Nikola Drouin is happy, healthy and so loved. Oli and McGriff have already proven to be great big (fur) brothers!

YAPPY HOURS COME TO AN END Huge thanks to our summer Yappy Hour sponsors. We at RUFF were so happy to meet and see so many faces each month at this event. It truly would not have been possible without the support of Ashley (McCarthy) Leo and the generosity of Absolute, JB and his amazing staff at the Living Room and our dear friends over on Salem Street - PolkaDog. Is it June yet??

| EXCESSIVE BARKING If your dog is barking continuously in the park, you need to make the judgement call to remove your dog. We are asking members to hold each other accountable while in the park. We are receiving complaints from nearby neighbors about excessive barking. Lets be GOOD neighbors and curb the barking in the park.
As a reminder: Rules of the park are clearly posted at both entrances and within the park on the message board. Please refresh yourself with those when you have a moment.

|
| Licensed and Vaccinated As a reminder for our park all dogs using the park must be licensed and vaccinated to use the park. This ensures that if there is an altercation neither dog will wind up in quarantine.
Registering online is easy through the City of Boston website: https://www.boston.gov/departments/animal-care-and-control/how-license-your-dog

LYME DISEASE Lyme Disease in Dogs - As City folk we don't think about lyme disease too often, but it is important to educate ourselves. We all love to vacation with our dogs and take them for weekend hikes. Please continue to read up on preventing, diagnosing and treating this disease.

Events/Birthdays in the park Do you want to host your dogs birthday in the park? Would you like to host a get together? RUFF is happy to accommodate! Reach out to us for more details. It is important we schedule your event so that it doesn't overlap with other events in the park. | Park Hours Hours of the park are 6am - 9pm, 7 days a week. Violators will face a warning. If they continue to violate this rule, they will be banned from the park. This is out of respect for our abutting neighbors who have welcomed the park and all our members. If you see someone in the park after hours, please report it to the Police and do not take action yourself.
