Sacred Gifts

This Sunday we continued our "Creating Space" conversation as Greg led us in a reflection around our physical bodies.  In our culture we've tended to see our bodies in unhealthy ways, and our hope is that we'll learn to see them instead as God does- as a sacred gifts capable of experiencing and reflecting God's love. This week was also a 3rd Sunday so we donated our entire ($546.20) to Oakland Elizabeth house to support their work with single moms and their families!  Typically our Sunday conversations are live streamed on facebook, but due to technical issues we weren't able to post this week's.  If you'd like to check past week's services click here.  Over the coming weeks we'll continue to explore how we might "create space" in various areas of our lives including our finances, our digital lives, time, and more. This coming Sunday we'll be considering how to practice spaciousness and simplicity when it comes to our DIGITAL LIVES, something that connects with all of us today.  As always there are lots of things going on beyond Sundays in the life of our community, be sure to check it all out!

Stuff Exchange Sunday April 14th:  Bring in your "stuff" that you don't need anymore and you'll get to take whatever you want- just make sure it's not garbage. This will be part of our "Creating Space" conversation as we reflect on our relationship to our material "stuff"   Afterwards the leftovers will be donated to the City Team Shelter.
