A three-year research study involving schools from across the province identifies 10 practical strategies educators can use to help Indigenous learners successfully transition to the next stage of their education
or beyond school.

You must be credentialled before you can apply. Workshops will be held in Burnaby, Victoria and Kamloops in early July to earn your GLA 10 marker qualification.

Six-Year Completion Rates are on the Rise

Six-year completion rate data for the 2017/18 school year was released publicly recently, and the results are very positive. Since 1999/2000, the number of B.C. students who complete secondary school within six years of enrolling in Grade 8 has increased nearly 10 percent and is at an almost
20-year high. That's great news!
