Throwback Story: BC Games goes back to school

As we wait to see what the future holds, we look to our past to remember all we have accomplished and to appreciate everyone who has made the BC Games what they are today.

This month, we’re sending a shout out to the school districts from BC Games host communities who have dedicated so much to the Games and are currently finding creative ways to educate children across the province during this difficult time.

2024 and 2026 Bid Application Conference Call

The BC Games Society will be hosting a conference call meeting for all interested municipalities to discuss the bid process and answer any questions you may have. The conference call will take place on June 10, 2020 at 10:00 AM PDT.

Should your community wish to participate, please submit your name and contact information including your phone number and email address to bidinfo@bcgamesmail.org prior to June 3, 2020.

Upcoming Opportunities with Team BC!

Preparations for the 2021 Canada Summer Games are underway and Team BC will be opening up the application process next week to select the Mission Staff who will support British Columbia’s athletes, coaches, and managers as they prepare for and compete at these national multi-sport Games.

BC Games Alumna Camryn Rogers staying positive during pandemic

Read how BC Games alumna Camryn Rogers is staying positive and staying active during the COVID-19 pandemic. Camryn competed at the 2014 BC Summer Games and went on to win the 2019 NCAA national title in hammer throw, breaking the Canadian U23 record.
