The 2019/2020 school year has been an unprecedented time for students, educators and school staff across the world. The
Minister of Education has written a letter to all education staff thanking them for their continued commitment to excellence during these challenging times. We know you likely worked through your spring break putting together plans in response to the COVID-19 pandemic and that you've been working tirelessly ever since. It hasn't been easy, but the entire school system has truly pulled together to navigate these unique times and provide safe environments for students, staff and communities while supporting educational excellence for all students. Your relentless dedication reminds us of why B.C. is a global leader in education.
Teachers, administrators and support staff have done an incredible job adapting to the new teaching environment. We've heard so many remarkable stories from School Districts and Independent Schools whose staff have taken extraordinary
measures to support students and their fellow colleagues. We continue to capture some of these stories on the

Because of your hard work, B.C. is on the right track, but we have much more to do. What we've learned already, through these past few months, is that we're stronger when we work together. While there may be new challenges, we're confident that we will continue to work collaboratively to support our students and one another.
