Looking for a way to give back to the teaching profession and make a lasting difference for the next generation of educators in our province? Now’s your chance: the next elections for the BC Teachers' Council are just around the corner.
The BC Teachers' Council (BCTC) is responsible for:
1. Setting standards for teachers and educators in B.C., including education, competence and professional conduct requirements
2. Setting standards for post-secondary teacher education programs
3. Reviewing and approving post-secondary teacher education programs
Elections for new BCTC members are being held this spring in each of five election zones across the province. And we encourage you to take part: visit the
