It’s Education Week in B.C. – a time each year to recognize our province’s teachers, administrators, and school and district staff for their unwavering commitment to student success. It’s a chance to say thank you, sincerely, for all that you do: your dedication, expertise and focus on helping students reach their fullest potential is what makes B.C.’s education system one of the best in the world.
Without question, this past year has been exceptionally challenging for everyone. As educators, you have responded with compassion, kindness and tireless support for your students. You have been creative and have adapted to changing circumstances, always acting in students’ best interests. You have also been a calming influence with students and their families. Through it all,
you continue to be a great source of strength and inspiration. Check out some of the
