TRIO Upward Bound (UB) is a pre-college program that not only assists high school students in completing high school but also pursue and completing post-secondary education. UB teaches students about college entrance exams, college choices, preparing for college while still in high school, and so much more.
TRIO UB offers a wide range of services that help students gain the knowledge, skills, and confidence to successfully graduate high school.
The second of five recruitment meetings is this Saturday! We will have two different tracks, one for students who came last Saturday and for brand new students. Bring a Friend

Students do not have to attend the presentation to come to the Saturday meetings. Saturday Meetings are open to any and every student that is interested in TRIO Upward Bound.
Helpful Tips to Standout
1. Talk to the members! 2. Participate in the activities. 3. Greet the staff or make small talk with them. This helps you make a positive impact on the staff so they remember who you are. 4. When it comes to peer interviews, take those interviews seriously. This is when students really form opinions. 5. Follow instructions even if it means you may be split up from your friends. It's important that the staff see that you are okay getting out of your comfort zone.
