This month, TCLIP hosted the last Labour Market Working Group meeting for 2023-2024. The meeting involved a discussion between TCLIP members and service providers from partner organizations about the potential development of a training program aimed at enhancing the capabilities of service providers to better assist newcomers in their pursuit of employment opportunities.

Another key topic the meeting discussed was a proposal to explore the development of a video series covering crucial topics like networking, transferable skills, and the effective use of LinkedIn. The goal of the series is to offer newcomers a valuable resources as they navigate the intricacies of the labor market.

TCLIP also shared with partners some resources by Pride at Work Canada. The resources offer valuable insights on how to create more inclusive workplaces that recognize the skills of 2SLGBTQIA+ folks and advance their leadership. To access the resources, please click on the button below.
